share of thought!!

“What is this life if, full of care,We have no time to stand and stare.”

Goes the lines of the Poem Leisure by Wm. Henry Davies.

How true are those lines in today’s busy world where we have no time to spend for our family, no time to spend with our friends, no time to spend for ourselves.

Our days starts daily with full of tension . We never greet our Parents at home. We never go for a walking that would make us fresh and happy. We start our day searching for dress, files , bag… Run for the bus…

At office we just sit the whole day before the computers. May be sitting before computers and handling machines we have forgot to handle people . Important bondage that helps in handling people and keeps the relationship evergreen. That is LOVE. No one can deny the fact that we all love our parents, wife, children, friends. But are we really showing them how much we love them? How much we care for them? How much we would miss them when they are not with us?

During office hours even if we get a call from friend we Just say I am busy. Yes of course, we may be busy but have we taken care to call them later and ask them why they called us?

Have we ever thought of spending time with our children at home. The best part in life is watching our kids grow. But how many of us sit with them , spend time with them, teach them, play with them? It’s a million dollar question and the answer would be just “I am busy”.

Few days before just read a story regarding this which kindled me to write this article.

The story is about a software engineer who is always busy with work. He forgets that he has a wife and a child at home. He starts early morning from office and enters home at late night. Now it so happened one day in his company a session was taken regarding expressing the love we have for our family and friends. After attending the session when he came out the time was 6PM. If it would have been other days he would have gone to work. But this session changed him a lot. He thought of going home and express his love to someone. When he thought regarding this he remembered his son who is 10 years old.

He reached his home and was surprised to see the rooms with darkness. He went inside each room searching for his son. When he entered the study room of his son he saw his son busy writing something. He just went near him and called him by his name. The kid was busy writing something and on seeing his father just crushed the paper with his hands. Now the father, sat near his son hugged him and asked him…

What your doing darling?
When did you come from school?
Did you have your evening snacks?

The child on hearing those words from his father started crying. Father did not understand what was wrong in his questions and why the child was crying? He tried to ask the child but he was crying all the more. At last, the kid gave the crushed paper which he had in his hand and gave it to father for reading.

It was addressed to his father.
Dear father,

I have never experienced your love and care. I am just afraid whether I would lose them in my life. I just don’t feel like living in this world.

On reading those lines the father hugged his son and cried. If he had not come to his home and expressed his love to his son what would have happened. It was unbearable for him to imagine.

Yes, Many of us fail to express our love to our dear and loved ones in the name of work. Just we must learn to balance our Personal life and work.

After all we work for our loved ones. When they get the feeling that we don’t care for them then what is the use of earning so much?

Just give a thought over this!!

Let us express our love and affection to our Near and dear Ones.
